General Information
What is the focus of the Conference?
The Conference theme is “Legislating in a Changing World”, where the Conference hopes to elicit thoughtful discussions on how legislative drafters can meet the challenges of an evolving legal and socio-political landscape while upholding core drafting principles and practices.

When and where will the Conference take place?
The Conference will be held from 15 to 17 July 2026 at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore. There will also be social activities on 17 and 18 July 2026.
Will meals be provided?
Light refreshments and/or meals will be provided during scheduled breaks. All food catered for the Conference (including the Welcome Reception and the Gala Dinner) will be halal-certified.
What is the dress code for the Conference?
For the Conference, the dress code for delegates, speakers and panellists is business attire (jackets and ties are optional).
For the Welcome Reception on 15 July, we encourage everyone to come in your national or cultural dress, but business casual is welcome as well.
For the Gala Dinner on 16 July, the dress code is business casual.

Can I still register?
Registrations for the Conference have closed. Please note that walk-in registrations are not allowed. If you have any queries, please contact us at calc2026@agc.gov.sg.
I have registered for the Conference. What does my registration cover?
Your registration covers attendance at the Conference (including lunch and tea breaks) and the Gala Dinner. The Attorney-General’s Chambers of Singapore is hosting a Welcome Reception for all delegates at no extra cost.
What is the cancellation policy?
Please contact us at calc2026@agc.gov.sg for any cancellation requests.
Can I send a replacement delegate?
If you need to send a colleague in your place, we are pleased to accommodate delegate substitutions at no charge. Please contact us at calc2026@agc.gov.sg for any substitution requests.

After I reach the National Gallery Singapore, how do I get to the Supreme Court Terrace?
From the Parliament Place entrance (most convenient if walking from the Conference venue)
Walk through a restaurant called Rempapa (located near the signage that reads “Parliament Place Entrance”) to reach Supreme Court Foyer
Take the escalators from behind the L1 information counter down to B1
At B1, walk past the Imagination Gallery towards City Hall Wing, Lift Lobby B
At Lift Lobby B, take the lift from B1 to L4
At L4, turn right after exiting the lift
Walk across the Upper Link Bridge to arrive at Supreme Court Terrace
From the Coleman Street entrance (if travelling by MRT, taxi or private hire car)
Go to Lift Lobby A at City Hall Wing
At Lift Lobby A, take the lift to L4
At L4, turn right after exiting the lift
Follow the direction signs and walk past Lift Lobby B towards Supreme Court Wing
Walk across the Upper Link Bridge to arrive at Supreme Court Terrace
From the Padang Atrium entrance
Go to Lift Lobby B at City Hall Wing
At Lift Lobby B, take the lift from L1 to L4
At L4, turn right after exiting the lift
Walk across the Upper Link Bridge to arrive at Supreme Court Terrace
Are there prayer facilities at the National Gallery Singapore?*
A designated prayer room for Muslims is available at the National Gallery Singapore, City Hall Wing, at Level 3 (at the far end of the corridor near the public restrooms).
Walking directions within the National Gallery Singapore are set out below:
Go to Lift Lobby A at the City Hall Wing
At Lift Lobby A, take the lift to L3
At L3, turn left after exiting the lift
Follow the corridor signs leading towards the public restrooms by walking past the Singtel Special Exhibition Gallery 2
Walk past the public restrooms towards the end of the corridor. The prayer room is located behind a door at the end of the corridor

Are there other places of interest, restaurants or cafes around the National Gallery Singapore that I can visit?
The National Gallery Singapore offers ticketed and open exhibitions around the year. It also has various food options – visit its website to find out more.
Nearby shopping malls include Funan Mall, Raffles City Shopping Centre and Capitol Singapore.
Can I bring my own alcoholic drinks?
No. A selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be served.

Gala Dinner
What is the dress code for the Gala Dinner?
Smart casual.
Must I pay for the Gala Dinner?
The Conference fee covers the Gala Dinner.
Can I bring a guest to the Gala Dinner?
Yes, you can. There is a fee of USD115 per guest.
Can I bring my own alcoholic drinks?
No. A selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be served.

For logistical reasons, we are unable to cater for family members.

How do I get to the Conference venue?
The Conference venue is The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, 1 Fullerton Square, Singapore 049178 (Google Maps | OneMap).
By MRT (most convenient)
Nearest station: Raffles Place MRT station (EW14 / NS26)
Walking time: ~3–5 minutes
Directions:
Take the East-West Line (Green) or North-South Line (Red) to Raffles Place MRT station
Exit via Exit H or Exit M (Exit M is wheelchair accessible)
Walk towards Fullerton Square / Singapore River
The hotel is about 350m away
By Bus
Nearest stop: Fullerton Square (2–3 min walk)

By Taxi / Private Hire Car

Is parking available?
Parking is available at/near the venue, subject to availability. Charges apply.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible. Please contact us if you require additional assistance.
Are there prayer facilities at the Conference venue?
A designated prayer room for Muslims will be available at the Conference venue. The Masjid Moulana Mohamed Ali is also a 5-minute walk (along the Singapore River) from the hotel. It is the only underground mosque in Singapore, and is located at 80 Raffles Place, #B1-01, UOB Plaza 1, Singapore 048624 (Google Maps | OneMap).
